This is my second painting depicting the cosmetic repairs I performed on one of the sharks, particularly focusing on replacing and repairing its teeth. Interestingly, there were two types of teeth involved: hard ones designed for chewing through wood, and softer ones intended for scenes involving human interaction in or near the sharkâs mouth. All the teeth were cast on-site at Shark City using molds, and each tooth had to be placed with precision according to its size and angle to ensure that every shark's mouth appeared identical for continuity purposes. Touch-ups involving blood and tissue were carried out at sea, just before filming began.
